As time edges closer to seeing Billy Butcher and his team take on The Seven once again, it’s about time we got another look-see at The Boys swearing-filled, gorier Season 2. The trailer offers quick looks at the alienated Homelander, Billy and The Boys being wanted fugitives and another concerning moment involving milk.

The much-anticipated second outing for the comic book adaption is set to answer many questions left hanging by the first season. The biggest of all us Homelander’s fathering of Billy’s thought-to-be-deceased wife. Ouch.

The show sees the return of talent such as star Star Trek‘s Karl Urban as Butcher, The Hunger Games‘ Jack Quaid as Hughie Campbell and Without a Paddle’s Antony Starr as Homelander.

Nerd-favourite Simon Pegg is confirmed to not return as Hughie’s father in Season 2, whilst superhero-powered Neo-Nazi Stormfront is to be introduced and cause trouble for Homelander.

Season 1 of The Boys can be viewed on Amazon Prime Video now, with Season 2 due to debut September 4.
