The next feature film to release starring Boseman is the upcoming Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom which is currently in post-production and also stars Suicide Squad‘s Viola Davis.

A Sequel to Black Panther is set to be released May 6, 2022. It is unknown how the lead star’s death will effect the film but the most likely avenues from here are to scrap the film or have Letitia Wright’s Shuri take up the Black Panther mantle.
