Full Length Trailer For After Life Season 3 Released
“Caring about stuff, that’s what really matters”
Ahead of it’s January 14 release, Netflix have released a new trailer for the third and final season of Ricky Gervais’ After Life. You can watch the trailer below:
Much like the previous two seasons, Gervais’ Tony continues to grieve for his late wife, Lisa, whilst having a pretty foul mouth on him with people who rub him the wrong way. However, this time around it looks like he is beginning to turn a corner. This series is set to see Tony begin to scatter his late father’s, played by Harry Potter‘s David Bradley, ashes as he also decides to start caring more.
“I thought not caring, was a superpower”, Tony is heard saying. “I was wrong. Caring about stuff, that’s what really matters”.
These words are interweaved with moments such as him throwing a brick through someone’s car window and also throwing his father’s ashes in a barman’s mouth and hoping “it was his c*ck, you stupid cu*t”. Maybe…some things just don’t ever change?

This may be the end of the hilarious/heartbreaking journey from After Life, but it is not the end of Gervais’ partnership with Netflix. The actor/writer is set to produce three new shows with the streaming service, but is currently unsure of which project will see the screen first. Gervais has described one of the projects as the biggest sitcom he’s ever done.
After Life season 3 is available to stream on Netflix as of January 14.
