Gotham Knights TV Series Logo Revealed
We even got a production start date
The CW is expanding on their catalogue of DC Comics properties with a new show. Gotham Knights is due to feature a villain-esque Teen Titans which will throw is back into the world of Batman. The series currently only has a series order, but it is safe to expect at least a full first season.
If that isn’t exciting enough, the powers that be have dropped some further details on the show. The series’ director, Danny Cannon, has dropped an early design for the show’s logo. Not only this, but he’s also confirmed that production will start in April of this year.
The official synopsis for the series is as follows:
“in the wake of Bruce Wayne’s murder, his rebellious adopted son forges an unlikely alliance with the children of Batman’s enemies when they are all framed for killing the Caped Crusader. And as the city’s most wanted criminals, this renegade band of misfits must fight to clear their names. But in a Gotham with no Dark Knight to protect it, the city descends into the most dangerous it’s ever been. However, hope comes from the most unexpected places as this team of mismatched fugitives will become its next generation of saviors.“
There is no say as of yet on casting and or even characters. But, with production due in less than two months we expect news to drop in the not-too-distant-future. From the looks of the synopsis it’ll be a new version of Dick Grayson or Tim Drake in the frame to lead the ensemble.
The character of Dick Grayson is currently being played by Brenton Thwaites on HBO Max’s Titans. The show has recently completed it’s third season with a fourth on the horizon.

It is also worth noting that the upcoming show should not be confused with the WB Games release of the same name which is due for release in Spring of this year. Much like the series, the game’s plot follows the death of Bruce Wayne, however it is the remaining members of the Bat Family who band together to take on evil on the streets of Gotham.
Gotham Knights will be produced by Warner Bros. Television and Berlanti Productions, much like other DC Comics shows on The CW.
Gotham Knights currently does not have a set release date due to it’s current pilot order status.
