Umbrella Academy could be losing a key character ahead of season 2

Aidan Gallagher is giving some heavy hints.

After the massive success on its first season, is it such a surprise that fans are gearing up for Umbrella Academy season 2? The Netflix hit – which centres on seven adopted, super-powered siblings who return to their home in the wake of their father’s death – has erupted with popularity, however one of the stars is now casting a shadow over his future on the show.

Aidan Gallagher, who plays Number 5 in the netflix show, has took to social media lately to hint at either his exit from the show or the fact that a season 2 will not materialise.

The tweet reads: “Thank you for the role of a lifetime! I will always look back and say wow that the coolest role I every played!”. The tweet is followed by a short clip that compiles moments of Number 5.

Once the media took hold of Gallagher’s comment, the young actor felt the need to reiterate.

“I stand by my tweet: “I will always look back and say wow that was the coolest role I ever played” – Aidan Gallagher”.

He continues: “How is that not clear enough for everyone?”.

Gallagher’s comments follow other cast members who have claimed to have no idea what the future holds in terms of an Umbrella Academy season 2, but with how popular the shows has become can you truly believe that a second instalment won’t be introduced? It would appear that Number 5 is looking to spread his wings and move on.
