Is Loki back for Avengers: Endgame?
Well he is he god of mischief after all.
This week, Marvel and Disney released the official Avengers: Endgame character posters. They are already getting the internet talking, and specifically about a certain double-crossing Asgardian/Frost Giant.
Yes, Loki appears to have a character poster for the film. For all fans, this is a surprise as he was killed in the opening scene of Infinity War.
To some people, this may be shocking, but to hardcore fans, is it really worth raising you eyebrows? Loki has been known to fake his death before, which he did in Thor: The Dark World. Only this time around, his neck was crunched like a cookie at Thanos’ hand. So how has he done it this time?

It is worth noting that Loki is not the only character who is long gone that has earned a poster. Half of Marvel’s heroes that were dusted due to Thanos’ decimation all earned a poster (which was inevitable as they’ll return by the film’s climax), as did Gamora and Vision. Gamora was sacrificed by Thanos in order to claim the soul stone, and Vision suffered a horrific death as the mind stone was ripped from his forehead by Thanos.
It is always possible that Gamora could somehow come back, maybe by returning the soul stone to it’s original place? Maybe vision can be returned by the mind stone being placed back in his noggin? But Loki? His death occurred at a point where it would be unethical for him to make a return. Thanos himself even said “no resurrections this time”, and that was more confirmation to the audience than the characters in the film. The Mad Titan may as well of winked down the camera.
However, even though Loki isn’t likely to return in the future, maybe he could make a comeback in the past. Leaked set photos from Avengers: Endgame showed some of our favourite heroes returning to The Battle of New York. This battle served as the big third-act fight of Avengers: Assemble. In those set photos we see an old school Captain America, an old School Thor and…gee, look at that, an old school Loki.

Now, unless The Russo Brothers just wanted to p*ss money up the wall to throw people off the scent of the film’s actual plot, this means Loki does indeed play at least a small part in Avengers: Endgame. But worthy of a character poster?
It is very likely that the poster is just a salute to the characters presence in the MCU, and would Marvel really let slip his part in Endgame by releasing a poster with his face taking up it’s entirety?
Whatever Marvel and the Russo Brothers are doing here, it’s sneaky, as you would expect. My gut tells me that this is Marvel saying ‘yes, Loki’s in the film, no, we’re not telling you how’. To just release the Avengers: Endgame character posters with Loki included, not comment on it, and do it with only a month until the film is released…yeah, they’re playing a game.
Nevertheless, it is a big detail that has fans excited. We were promised no resurrection and this deceased character seems to have a big enough part to have a poster. I look forward to seeing what The Russo’s have in store for us next month!
Avengers: Endgame will have us queuing up outside cinemas in the UK come April 25, whereas the US will be able to view the film a day later on April 26.

Thank you for your sharing. I am worried that I lack creative ideas. It is your article that makes me full of hope. Thank you. But, I have a question, can you help me? https://accounts.binance.com/ph/register?ref=IU36GZC4
