First Moon Knight Trailer Released

“Embrace the chaos…”

Marvel have finally dropped the first trailer for the much anticipated Moon Knight series. It gives us a lot to be excited for, and even gives us a month of release!

This is our first look at the series, with much of the story being kept secret. But finally, we have a taste, plus an idea of a release date. The series is confirmed to be hitting Disney+ in March. That’s just two months away, people!

The debut trailer gives us our first full look at Oscar Isaacs’ character…well characterS. We mainly see Steven Grant, a British, mild mannered individual who suffers from constant blackouts and is plagued by memories of another life. Little does he know he’s actually Marc Spector, a mercenary who has been made the host for the Egyptian moon god Khonshu.

Amongst the clips shown, we get to see Grant in his daily life, plus what looks like constant swapping between his identities even whilst awake. There is also some intriguing shots of one of these identities waking up chained by the ankle and becoming frustrated by mirror images of himself that he is seemingly communicating with. I think we’re in for a doozy here.

along with Isaacs for the ride is Ethan Hawke’s Arthur Harrow. Harrow is described as a cult leader who encourages Grant/Spector to embrace his inner darkness.

The series will be the first of a few Marvel Studios shows coming to Disney+ throughout 2022. We are yet to get the release of the much anticipated She-Hulk, and there is also Ms Marvel. The latter was slated for this time of year but alas it was pushed back to later in the year.

Moon Knight hits Disney+ in March – an exact date is yet to be confirmed.
