James Corden confirms a Gavin & Stacey Christmas special for 2019

“OH, OH, OH! MERRY CHRISTMAS!”

Fans of the Shipmans, Wests, Sutcliffes and Smiths – REJOICE! James Corden has announced that he and co-writer, Ruth Jones, have written a Gavin & Stacey Christmas special for this festive season, due to air on Christmas day to be precise!

Corden, currently host of The Late Late Show in Los Angeles, confirmed the news via twitter. The post can be seen below:

With Corden being the host of a hit talk show in The States, it is a real shocker that he and Jones have had the time to put a Gavin & Stacey Christmas special together, but I doubt anyone is complaining! Either way, this is happening!

Nothing is known about the episode’s story, but with it being aired on Christmas day it is expected to have a festive theme!
