Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 Casts It’s Adam Warlock
The character is teased in Vol. 2’s post credit scene
The roster of The Guardians of the Galaxy is getting bigger. Deadline has reported that The Revenant’s Will Poulter has been cast as the almighty Adam Warlock for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
Director James Gunn then took to Twitter to confirm the news, which you can see below:

Poulter will be known for his successful career since childhood. The actor started off in E4’s School of Comedy, then going on to feature in projects like We’re The Millers, The Maze Runner and anthology series Black Mirror.
Adam Warlock is seen as one of the most powerful characters in the Marvel catalogue. With a long list of powers in his arsenal, he is usually introduced as a villain but then eventually is seen aligning with various members of The Avengers.

The inclusion of Warlock has been teased since Vol. 2‘s post credit scene. The scene featured Ayesha, played by Tenet‘s Elizabeth Debicki, telling her chambermaid that she had created the perfect Sovereign to destroy The Guardians once and for all. Since then, fans have waited for the character to pop up and cause some damage Quill and his crew.
It is expected that Warlock will be facing off with The Guardians when we first meet him, so how much damage do we expect him to cause? Well, with it rumoured that some of our main cast will be viewing Vol. 3 as their final appearance, there is potential for the character to change the game quite a bit.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is due to hit cinemas May 5, 2023.
