Details For Captain America 4 Hinted At
“He’s going to be the underdog in any situation…”
Since the news of a new Captain America movie, fans have been waiting for new details to leak through. Now, producer Nate Moore has given some hints as to what our new Cap will be up against in the fourth instalment.
Fans will remember that Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson inherited the Captain America identity at the end of Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, which saw the character voicing his concern about Government confidence and the awareness that a black man donning the stars and stripes will not be easy for everyone to accept.

Moore had this to say on the new hero’s differences from previous Cap, Steve Rogers:
I think he’s not Steve Rogers and I think that’s a good thing. Because to me, this new Cap is Rocky. He’s going to be the underdog in any situation. He’s not a super soldier. He’s not a hundred years old. He doesn’t have the Avengers. What happens with this guy who announces publicly kind of, without the support, ‘I’m the new Captain America.’ What happens next?

Moore added:
He’s a guy with wings and a shield, but he is a guy. So, we’re going to put him through the wringer and make him earn it, and see what happens when he is outweighed, outclassed, out-everything. What makes somebody Captain America? I’m going to argue it’s not being a super soldier. And I think we’re going to prove that with Mackie and Sam Wilson.

Nothing else is known regarding plot, characters etc. but it is expected that Sebastian Stan’s Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier/White Wolf will be along for the ride.
In the meantime, we have Eternals to enjoy in cinemas currently and the upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home to theorise about and look forward to.
The untitled Captain America 4 currently does not have a release date, whilst Eternals is currently in cinemas and Spider-Man: No Way Home hits cinemas December 15 in the UK and December 17 in the US.
