First Look at Indiana Jones 5 Unveiled
Get ready for Harrison Ford’s final outing
We’ve had next to nothing in terms of marketing for the currently untitled fifth and final Indiana Jones movie. Well, finally we have a little something. During the Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim, California, Lucasfilm took the opportunity to give us a first look at Harrison Ford’s return.

There isn’t much to go on, but at least we’re seeing Indy in his signature outfit. Not only is the plot for the film being kept under wraps, but so is the title. With the release date next year, there’s plenty of time for us to know the full title.
One thing we do know is the cast and crew involved. This is in fact the first Indiana Jones film not to have Steven Spielberg at the helm. Instead we have Logan‘s James Mangold behind the camera for this final film in the series. Alongside our main star, we have a long list of names supporting. This includes Fleabag‘s Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Rogue One‘s Mads Mikkelsen, Uncharted‘s Antonio Banderas and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom‘s Toby Jones.
The Indiana Jones franchise first kicked off in 1981 with Raiders of the Lost Ark. This was followed by The Temple of Doom and The Last Crusade, the latter featuring the late Sir Sean Connery as Indy’s father. The latest film, Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, was released in 2008 and was met with a mixed reception from fans of the film series.
The untitled-Indiana Jones 5 is due for release June 30, 2023.
