Should we hope for an Uncle Fester spin-off?

Netflix are officially developing a live-action series centred on Wednesday Addams. According to Variety, the series started development back in October but was not tied to any network or streaming service. Now, Netflix has ordered an eight-episode run into production.

The series will have Smallville‘s Al Gough and Miles Millar as show runners, whilst Hollywood director Tim Burton will direct and executive produce. With the dark tone of The Addams Family pairing perfectly with Burton’s style, we can expect something special.
