First Trailer For Spencer Released

The first teaser for Spencer starring Kristen Stewart has been released – you can watch the trailer below:
The film stars Stewart as Princess Diana during Christmas 1991 and the breakdown of her marriage to Prince Charles. Poldark‘s Jack Farthing plays the Prince of Wales, with the likes of Harry Potter‘s Timothy Spall and The Shape of Water‘s Sally Hawkins cast in undisclosed roles.

In 1991, during her Christmas holidays with the royal family at Sandringham House in Norfolk, Diana, Princess of Wales decides to end her marriage to Prince Charles.

The film will have its world premiere at the Venice International Film Festival on 3 September. This will be followed by a special event screening at the Toronto International Film Festival.
With this first trailer drumming up a lot of praise for Stewart’s portrayal of the people’s princess, it will be no surprise if the Twilight actress creates Oscar buzz.
Spencer will hit cinemas 5 November.
