Third Trailer for The Batman Unveiled

“We all have our scars, Bruce”

A third trailer has been released for the upcoming dark knight reboot, The Batman.

The trailer is dubbed The Bat and The Cat, focusing a lot more closely on the relationship between Batman and Catwoman throughout the film.

We also get a lot more footage of the caped crusader in action, whilst also going into more depth of The Riddler’s scheme and it’s connection to the Wayne family. It seems that The Wayne’s are going to close to the origins of The Riddler’s evil ways, which may make for quite a blow to the unstable Bruce Wayne we get from Robert Pattinson.

The trailer also weighs in more heavily on the idea of Bruce being a recluse, as opposed to the playboy billionaire that we’re used to in previous iterations of the character.

Fans will know that the film revolves around Batman’s second year of crimefighting, with The Riddler’s growing plot and murder-spree bringing him closer to working with the police to get to the bottom of his motive.

As we already know, aside from Pattinson, the film boasts a star-studded cast. The Last Jedi‘s Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth. Big Little Lies‘ Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle/Catwoman. Prisoners‘ Paul Dano as Edward Nashton/The Riddler. No Time to Die‘s Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon. Colin Farrell as Oswald “Oz” Cobblepot/The Penguin. The hype for this adaptation is real.

The Batman hits cinemas March 4, 2022.
