What could it mean?

The wait is finally over. After much teasing from the cast, we finally have a title for Jon Watts’ third Spider-Man outing.

The film’s title is officially Spider-Man: No Way Home. In recent days, we have had stars Tom Holland, Jacob Batalon and Zendaya taking to social media to ‘reveal’ the title. Their ‘announcements’ included the likes of Phone Home, Home Slice and Home Wrecker

This was all cleared up eventually with the official reveal, which you can view below:

The whiteboard design shows that Watts and the team are very much aware that fans have been endlessly guessing what the title of the film will be.

We’ve also had some official stills from the film released by the cast, which can be seen below:

The film’s official title could take various meanings. Most fans will probably be thinking that it ties into Peter Parker being on the run since Quentin Beck/Mysterio framed him and revealed his identity as the alter-ego. Is it possible that it also/instead refers to other webslingers/supervillains who have somehow wound up in Holland’s world and can’t get back to their own? I guess we’ll find out.
