Tom Holland teasing new ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ trailer?

Always rely on Holland for a reveal!

It would appear that young Tom Holland is teasing something special for this coming Monday (March 25th). Taking to Twitter below, we can see that he is vague but knows his fandom are going to be on the case immediately.

We know that that the Peter Parker actor has a number of upcoming projects – Avengers: Endgame, Chaos Walking and Spider-Man: Far From Home – but to which is he referring?

As Endgame has only JUST released new trailer, that is out of the running. Chaos Walking – which also stars The Last Jedi‘s Daisy Ridley – has been in pre-production hell as it was pushed back from it’s initial March 2019 release, so movement is not likely at this point. That only leaves Far From Home to be the tease that Holland is…well…teasing.

The first and only trailer so far – which can be viewed below – left viewers with a lot to think about. It was confirmed Samuel L Jackson’s Nicky Fury will feature in the film as a new mentor to Peter Parker (so, where is Tony Stark?). It also implied that Jake Gyllenhaal’s Quentin Beck/Mysterio is apparently set to be more of a friend than a foe to the webslinger.

The next instalment in the Spider-Man solo series will be set minutes after the ending of Avengers: Endgame and show Parker and his friends on a summer vacation around Europe, all whilst the hero must also battle creatures called The Elementals.

Aside from Holland, Jackson and Gyllenhaal, the movie stars Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, Jacob Batalon and Cobie Smulders as Michelle/MJ, Ned Leeds, Aunt May and Agent Maria Hill respectively.

Spider-Man: Far From Home arrives in cinemas July 5, 2019! Avengers: Endgame will have us sobbing as of April 25th, 2019 in the UK and April 26th, 2019 in the US.
