The first trailer for ‘The Mandalorian’ has been released
“Bounty hunting is a complicated profession…don’t you agree?”
Long, long ago…a Star Wars series named The Mandalorian was put into production with The Lion King director Jon Favreau overseeing it as creator and showrunners.
Well, finally the much anticipated show has a first trailer released! You can view the trailer below:
The trailer for the space-western show gives us out first real look at what the main character, played by Pedro Pascal in all our Boba Fett-esque armour, will be getting up to during the show.
The premise for the show reads: Star Wars: The Mandalorian takes place a few years “after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order” and follows “a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic”.

The show is said to feature many references to the original trilogy of Star Wars and please a lot of fans with a darker, murkier side of the franchise.
Creater Jon Favreau was quoted by The Hollywood Reporter as saying: “I’m trying to evoke the aesthetics of not just the original trilogy [and] not just the first film, but the first act of the first film. What was it like on Tatooine? What was going on in that cantina? That has fascinated me since I was a child, and I love the idea of the darker, freakier side of Star Wars, the Mad Max aspect of Star Wars.”

The show will also feature a star-studded cast, with the likes of Rocky star Carl Weathers as bounty hunter leader Greef Carga and Breaking Bad villain Giancarlo Esposito in a currently undisclosed role respectively.
If your Star Wars cravings can’t wait until December for The Rise of Skywalker, then don’t worry – The Mandalorian is released a month before! If that’s still too long…watch anything to tide you over except Attack of the Clones.
The Mandalorian hits Disney+ November 12, whilst Star Wars’ next big screen outing, The Rise of Skywalker, is released December 20 in the U.S.
